What is it?
Client centered therapy is also known as person centered therapy or non-directive therapy. This approach was developed by Carl Rogers Humanistic Psychologist (During, 1940s & 1950s).
He believed that people are best guide of their life, they are capable of self-understanding & self-direction. If they are provided with supportive, accepting & non-judgmental environment, he/she will be able to tap into their own resourcefulness & able to make constructive changes. He said that Individual has innate capacity to move away from maladjustment & live more fulfilling & healthier life.
Therapist will help & facilitate the process while responsibility to make change lies with a person. Client centered therapy will work best if you are experiencing conflicts, disturbed emotions & thoughts, low self-esteem, stress/anxiety etc.

How do I know if I need counselling?
There is no criteria for when to see a counselor. But if you are noticing any of these, its better to ask for help for example,
If you feel overwhelmed by things & previously ways of coping with it are not working. Whatever problems you are facing started interfering with your daily life. If you notice unusual changes in your emotions/mood/routine. Your relationships & conflicts become unmanageable etc.
You do not need to find a problem to see a counselor. You can approach them if you want personal growth, explore yourself & enhance your strengths.
Why to approach a Psychologist instead of dealing with it on my own?
Everybody has their own way of dealing with problems. It does work well, but sometimes but when it does not work asking professional help will be beneficial. Psychologist can provide new ways of looking at situation & options that are available to you, which you were unable to see before.
Is graphology is a science?
There is no scientific evidence exists which claims graphology as a true science. It is consider as soft science or pseudoscience because of subjective nature of interpretations. There is no one perfect way to analyse handwriting. Every graphologist differ in their own way.
Is graphotherapy effective?
Yes it is effective. You will experience changes in yourself. But it requires you to remain consistent with your practice.

What to keep in mind during online counselling session?
Choose a environment that is quiet & private. So that there will not be any interruptions during session. Make sure to have high speed internet connection.
